Gus's last day at Palmer Junior Middle

Gus had his last day at Palmer Junior Middle School today.  They had a promotion ceremony for the 200 or so kids in his 8th grade class.  He's ready and happy to be moving on to the next phase.  I found myself chuckling and a little amazed more than once today over the fact that I now have two high schoolers.  

Today it was spring, sunny and 62 degrees.  The leaves are filling in all the gaps in the forest and very slowly the lawn is starting to turn green.  Here are a few of the pictures I have taken in the last three weeks.  We've definately seen some changes.  And the daylight situation . . . the sun sets at 10:45 p.m and rises at 5:10 a.m., but it isn't very dark even in the middle of the night.
